Actual Revenue

Actual Revenue is defined as the final total income generated from a specific opportunity once the rental period has concluded.

Key Details

Actual Revenue, unlike estimated figures, this amount is calculated after all variables—such as additional fees, discounts, and pro-rated adjustments—have been applied.

  • System Category: This term falls under the Opportunity – General (Summary) section of the software.

  • Calculation Timing: It is determined only after the rental period ends and the final status of the asset is confirmed.

Use Case Example:

A customer may initially have an Estimated Revenue of $16,500 for a 3-month machinery rental. However, if the equipment is returned 10 days early, the system applies pro-rated adjustments, resulting in an Actual Revenue of $15,000 to reflect the shortened usage period.
